Witney, William Trigger Remembered Toney, Alabama Earl Blair Enterprises 1989 1st Edition Soft Cover Mint No Jacket Signed by Author First edition, 1989, bound in original illustrated softcovers, 78 pages, signed by author, William Witney, condition is mint. Illustrated with many black and white photographs, photograph of Roy and Trigger on the cover is a real stunner! Signed by William Witney on title page with a dedication which reads: "Hi, C. M. Parkhurst, Best Always, William Witney". There is another signed dedication on copyright page that reads "To Parky, A Lot of Cliff Hangers Have Gone By Since Houston Con!," signature looks to be Earl Blair. William Witney, an influential director of dozens of Westerns, movie serials (Lone Ranger, Dick Tracy and Captain Marvel) and TV shows (Lassie, Wagon Train and Bonanza). He was Roy Rogers' regular director and friend. C. M. Parkhurst, businessman and avid western movie buff. "An Affectionate Tribute to the "Smartest Horse in the Movies" told by the Screen's Foremost Action Director". This book is now very hard to find and very collectable.
